HABITAT TYPES WITH COMMON EXPECTED BIRDS

The California Department of Fish and Wildlife lists 59 wildlife habitats in the California Wildlife Habitat Relationships System (CWHR). https://wildlife.ca.gov/Data/CWHR/Wildlife-Habitats Of these 59 habitats, seven are predominantly found in Stanislaus County. Each habitat section listed below includes both the predominant vegetation as well as the commonly expected year-round resident bird species.
